As Easter approaches, Christians around the world prepare to celebrate the resurrection of their Saviour. Yet, in the birthplace of said Saviour, Christians are persecuted and targeted by the Israeli occupation and apartheid state. On Palm Sunday, the Israeli police barred church leaders and congregants from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. “The church is located on the site of Jesus’ death and resurrection.” This is obviously both not new and not isolated to Palestinian Christian’s. Israel has and continues to block Palestinian Muslims from accessing al-Aqsa mosque, including during Ramadan and for Eid.

Christian Zionism is not a fringe community. “For every Jewish Zionist, there are 20 or 30 Christian Zionists and therefore Netanyahu knows he needs the Christian, particularly the Christian right in America, Canada, Sweden, Holland and in much of Europe in order to maintain his position and to continue the expansion of the Zionist agenda in Palestine.”

Christian Zionist organizations with charity status are complicit in war crimes and genocide through their funding of entities that support the Israeli military and illegal Israeli settlements. Beyond this many of these “charities” publicly speak of converting Jewish people to Christianity.

There are two ways to take action:

1 | Send a letter to Canada Revenue Agency asking them to investigate these charities.
2 | Send a letter to organizations in your community who are supporting Christian Zionist charities.

Celebrating 2025: A Year of Impact

This year, we delivered decisive gains for Palestinian rights:

Identity Expression Policy secured in schools
CMHR Nakba Exhibit confirmed for June 2026
Harmful school programs removed
Stronger protections against anti‑Palestinian racism nationwide
These advances were achieved because our community stood together with clarity and purpose.

As we enter 2026, we are driving toward our $20,000 fundraising goal to strengthen and expand this critical advocacy. Your support directly fuels the work ahead.

This Christmas season, we hold fast to peace, hope, and human dignity as many in Palestine continue to face unimaginable hardship.

For the third year, families in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the diaspora endure grief and uncertainty, yet remain unwavering in their commitment to justice, coexistence, and the sanctity of life.

We invite you to stand with the Call from Christians in Palestine Campaign and support the PCC’s work for human rights, advocacy, and a just, lasting peace.
May this season bring solidarity, resilience, and hope.

After more than a decade of advocacy, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights will open “Palestine Uprooted: Nakba Past and Present” in June 2026.

This is a significant victory for truth and historical accountability. But the work does not stop at the museum doors. We are facing pushback for challenging long-standing efforts to erase Palestinian history, and we need collective support to ensure this exhibit sparks learning across the country.

Our $20K goal will help fund:
• Outreach to school districts
• University and educator partnerships
• Collaboration with human rights organizations
• Efforts to counter misinformation

Every contribution helps bring Palestinian history into Canadian classrooms and communities where it belongs.
