C-218 vote just finished.

🚨 BREAKING: The federal government announced today it will introduce legislation this fall to stop the scheduled expansion of MAiD when mental illness is the sole underlying condition.

While C-218 was defeated 187–141, this is still a significant victory. Nearly 8,000 calls were made in the last week—your voices were heard!

⚠️ Important: The government still needs to follow through, and its forthcoming bill may also address advance requests for MAiD. We will be watching closely.
