One prompt. 30 minutes. What will you build?

​Join us for the One Shot Prompting Challenge, a fast-paced challenge featuring backboard.io. Meet other builders, grab pizza and drinks, and put your prompting skills to the test.

🍕 Free food provided! Pizza and drinks are on us.

You’ll have 30 minutes to craft and submit one prompt to an LLM and show us the product it generates. No follow-up prompts, make your one shot count. ​Judges will review the submitted products and select five finalists to present to the room. All five finalists receive prizes!

Vous aurez 30 minutes pour rédiger et soumettre un seul prompt à un LLM, puis présenter le produit qu’il génère. Aucun prompt de suivi: vous n’aurez qu’une seule chance, alors faites-la compter!

Les juges évalueront les produits soumis et sélectionneront cinq finalistes qui auront l’occasion de présenter leur création devant le public. Les cinq finalistes remporteront un prix! 🏆

Join Formula uOttawa, WIE, and IEEE uOttawa on October 18 for the JMTS Innovation Challenge!

💻 FSAE Substitute Dash: Design a backup dashboard for our race car. Application required; selected applicants will be notified by email.

⚡ FSAE EV Design Challenge: Open to everyone! Design anything relevant to an electric Formula SAE car, with topics spanning mechanical, chemical, electrical, computer engineering, and more.

Reference materials will be provided for both challenges.
