Whats up EWB, VP positions for 2026-2027 are now open! Roles and responsibilities listed below:
VP Finance
• Oversees and manages the chapter’s financial operations.
• Maintains accurate records of expenditures, budgets, and reimbursements.
• Provides financial guidance and strategic advice to the executive team.
• Supports the preparation and submission of funding applications, including EEF funding proposals and presentations.
Director of Legacy
• Leads the development of a long-term legacy project under the VP Advocacy portfolio, with a focus on community-based problem solving.
• Establishes foundational frameworks for a sustainable initiative that can be implemented annually or expanded over time.
• Responsible for ideation, securing funding, and building partnerships to ensure the project’s continuity and growth.
VP Social
• Acts as the primary liaison with campus clubs, organizations, and external sponsors to coordinate events and collaborations.
• Plans, organizes, and executes the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
• Supports the development of engaging social and networking events that strengthen community involvement.
VP Communications
• Manages and oversees all chapter social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
• Develops and implements communication strategies to promote events, initiatives, and chapter activities.
• Engages with members and the broader community through consistent and professional digital communication.
• Candidates should be comfortable with content creation, including appearing in and producing media for social platforms.
VP Translations/Bilingualism
• Ensures all chapter communications (posts, forms, presentations, and documents) are accurately translated into French.
• Collaborates closely with the Communications team to produce bilingual promotional content.
• Leads initiatives and events related to Francophone culture, including Mois de la Francophonie and other relevant observances.
• Promotes inclusivity by ensuring a strong and consistent French presence at events and within chapter operations.
