Canada–U.S. files are moving quickly right now. Strong analysis matters — but so does having a plan that actually lands.

On March 24, 2026, PPF Academy is offering Managing Canada’s Interests Under Trump 2.0, a one-day bootcamp designed for practitioners.

A core feature of the program is the Advocacy Playbook, developed by Program Director Martin Loken, former Deputy Head of Mission at Canada’s Embassy in Washington, DC (2017–2022) and former Consul General in Minneapolis.

The playbook is practical and step-by-step: define the issue and clarify the ask; map the U.S. decision-making process; identify the right targets and messengers (including credible U.S. voices); and build a coordinated plan that can adapt in real time.

If you work in government, the private sector, or civil society and are navigating Canada–U.S. policy and advocacy, this program is designed to equip you with insights to inform your work — and a strategy you can put into action immediately.

Some of the thorniest problems of our time won’t be solved with the tools and systems we rely on today — but that doesn’t mean they’re beyond our capacity to solve.
