Every day, families in our community are living through the quiet storm of kidney disease. Behind every diagnosis is a story of a parent juggling treatments while raising children, a grandparent hoping to see one more holiday, a young adult whose future feels suddenly uncertain.
The Rocena Kidney Foundation exists for them.
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us in making a life-changing difference for people living with kidney disease, especially those in marginalized communities, particularly African, Caribbean, and Black communities, who continue to be disproportionately impacted by kidney disease and face the greatest barriers to care.

Why Your Support Matters
Kidney disease doesn’t pause.
It doesn’t wait.
And for many, it is an uphill battle filled with medical appointments, financial strain, and emotional exhaustion.
Your contribution will help us:
• Expand early detection and prevention programs so more people can catch kidney disease before it
becomes life-threatening.
• Provide urgent support for families in crisis, including transportation to dialysis, access to nutritious
food, and medical supplies not covered by insurance.
• Offer peer support groups and nutrition workshops to help individuals and families manage kidney
disease with education, dignity, and community care.
• Invest in community education and outreach to ensure culturally responsive health information
reaches marginalized communities, particularly African, Caribbean, and Black communities most
impacted by kidney disease.
• Support research and advocacy to improve care, empower patients, and strengthen kidney health
services across Canada.
