AND finished packing!!
Here the notebooks are either very girlish or very boyish!
Like dump trucks or ballerinas…
So we have to make up bags for the niños and the niñas!

Pencils here come already sharpened and we were having problems with them going through the bags!
We now use some small, very strong bags that can be used as pencil cases..also makes the packing somewhat easier
We packed them all up last night..
Now (Saturday) to pack up the notebooks

Delivery from Gomper (local school supply store) on Friday.
Pictures not so great due to strong sun and open door!

We provide school supplies to children who desperately need this help to stay in school.

Please note that there is no religious aspect of this project for the children. They are only aware the donors are from Canada.

We buy school supplies for kids who live/work in the Granada, Nicaragua garbage dump.
Besides paying our driver, all donations go to buying school supplies…There are no Admin costs
