Mass Culture / Mobilisation culturelle is conducting a survey on artists experiences with AI. Deadline to complete the poll: April 27, 2026

Mass Culture / Mobilisation culturelle mène une enquête sur l'IA et son impact sur les artistes. Date limite pour répondre au sondage : 27 avril 2026

📣 CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
AI is moving fast. Decisions are being made. But where are the artists?
At the recent National Summit for AI & Culture, one thing was missing for us - the voices of artists, the people most impacted.
We believe this gap is an opportunity and a responsibility. We’ve launched a short Curiosity Poll for Artists to understand how you’re actually engaging with AI. This is is not a technical survey. It’s a listening exercise. We’re curious about what you think?

👉 Take 5 minutes and share your perspective by April 27: https://survey.zohopublic.ca/zs/JLBwR0

Let’s make sure the future of AI in arts and culture is shaped with artists, not without them.

These certificates identify original works of art of Canadian origin, allowing them to be temporarily exported abroad without GST implications. Approved by Revenue Canada and Customs and Excise, it is valid only when signed by another CARFAC member and signed and sealed by the CARFAC National office.

Please note that these certificates are for the process of returning artwork to Canada. Additional forms are often required to allow artwork to enter a foreign country. You should start this process **at least a month in advance** to ensure you have everything you need.

Organized by CARFAC SASK but open to artists from other provinces as well!

CARFAC SASK and the Regina & Area Potters Guild are pleased to present:
BOOKKEEPING FOR ARTISTS WITH TAMMY BRYANT

Take the mystery out of record-keeping and tax issues with this easy to understand look at bookkeeping for the unincorporated artist. We’ll discuss different options available to record your information and take a deeper dive into using a spreadsheet specifically designed with the artist in mind. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to compile your data (transactions) to provide useful information regarding your practice as well as satisfying government agency reporting and compliance.

Registration linked in our Instagram bio or found at: carfac.sk.ca/workshops

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

TAMMY BRYANT has been working in the accounting/finance field for over 30 years. Currently, she is semi-retired, maintaining a small public practice consisting of year end work and tax preparation for small and medium corporations. Her experience has been gained through financial roles in a variety of industries, a successful sole proprietor public practice and continued involved with CPA Canada (CMA Canada previously) throughout the accreditation process.

As a ceramic artist, Tammy strives for her work to be unique and not fit into any specific box. This can be seen in the different firing techniques used or processes; wheel thrown, hand built & slip casting as well as numerous atmospheric firing processes. Using porcelain in her practice has allowed her different ways to incorporate brilliant colors, both defined & random.
She actively sells her work in markets as well as through a few brick & mortar locations within Saskatchewan
