Thank you for all the kind words and support everyone. This is not an easy decision and certainly we absolutely love seeing all the positive we have done and how many people this organization has brought into our lives.

We recently sent off $779.70 to the City of Ottawa for 2 more dog neuters and still have several on the list until we close!
Every penny will help make a difference. Thank you to those who have sent a small final donation, we appreciate that and it means we can help fit even more in before we close.

Good morning to all our supporters. Today we share a big change for The HolliBell Foundation.
Unfortunately, come the end of October, The HolliBell Foundation will be closing.
This has been a very difficult decision and we know it affects many people, but it is time.
We are beyond grateful to every single person and business who has supported us with monetary and item donations, kind words, their time, knowledge, listening ears, and spreading the word. This has been truly an experience of a lifetime to get to know so many amazing people, help so many wonderful families and all for the better of our pets.
Together over our time we have
- Raised close to $500,000 to help animals
- $317,788 of that has gone to spay and neuter (the rest was to animals before we focused on spay and neuter)
- A huge $89,465.25 of this raise through our Cupcakes for a Cause event. Who knew a little baking with love would get to this!
- Helped spay and neuter 2792 pets!!!
2792 pets who are
- no longer contributing to the over population
- healthier for their owners
- allowing owners to stay in their housing facilities
At first, I thought, wow this isn't as big a number as I thought it would be. But a friend made me realize it is.
Every one of those numbers was personal.
Every one of those numbers was spoken to with kindness.
Every one of those numbers was booked with one of our partner clinic.
Every one of those numbers was either transported or monitored to make sure they got to their appointment.
Every one of those numbers was fundraised for.
Every one of those numbers was paid for in some form.
Everyone one of those numbers was supported by you.
Every one of those numbers was important.
As this chapter closes for Heidi and myself (Caroline), I hope we have opened doors to owners, helped stir the pot on more options for spay and neuter (So happy to see more clinics helping out in whatever way they can), and allowed people to see, it does not take much to help 1 person.
- Help a neighbor collect empties or run a garage sale to pay
- Help a neighbor by getting them an appointment
- Help a neighbor by driving their pet to the appointment
- And yes it might take a few times to get through it. But it is worth it!
Over the next few weeks LOTS will be happening with us
- We still have many spay and neuters booked for Community Veterinary Outreach that we are getting through.
- We have lots of paperwork to get through
- We will be clearing out our supplies and passing along anything we have that other groups might be able to use.
- We will share a list of options for spay and neuter. Print it (or keep it saved) to share it with families and individuals who may need support.
What we ask of our supporters
- We will still accept donations until the end of October (by the 30th please) as we will still be helping quite a few pets this month.

*any funds left over after the month of spay and neuters and our last filling will be donated as a credit to a couple clinics for pre-approved spays and neuters coming in.
- If you currently have a CanadaHelps.org monthly donation. Please go ahead and cancel it (after this monthly one ;)
- Please continue to support spay and neuter. This is the only way out of the over population problem. So 1 simple spay and neuter can mean so much. Take the time to support the groups that follow this practice so we can stop the problem at the grass roots.
