Prepared Ontario Emergency Management Ontario Training is being hosted and instructed by Canadian Disaster Response Organization across Ontario.

EM-200 Basic Emergency Management Course is a 2-day course covering the basics of EM in Ontario. All course fees are paid for by EMO, so you have no tuition fees.

Canadian Disaster Response Organization: Support of Emergency Preparedness Week

Canadian Disaster Response Organization is pleased to support the national, provincial and territorial initiatives of Emergency Preparedness Week 2026, May 3rd to 9th.

An awareness initiative that encourages all Canadians to ensure they are prepared for the risks in their geographical location. Individual and family preparedness will reduce the consequences of hazards before, during and after the impact.

CDRO Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer Ian Becking encourages all Canadians to participate:

“Canadian Disaster Response Organization encourages Canadians to participate in Emergency Preparedness Week and follow this year's national theme: Be Prepared. Know your risks.
