Global Life Focus is a faith based organisation focused on restoring Life to the people and the planet, through community development. We hope to develop a community, that facilitates and nurtures Life. We began on the model of “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” We have to come to know that, “If you teach a man to fish he will go
find a fish. He will leave and find a place with fish”; or at least somewhere with water. The method of only teaching our caring for a portion of the family we create a detachment and isolation that has been proven to shorter Life. We create a mental, emotional, physical diaspore, that can destroying families, by creating a dependency and sense of duty on those who have been given aid. We now realize that, “People not only need to learn how to fish, they need to have the freedom and safety to fish in peace.” We’re focused on developing a supportive community. A community where people will learn how to fish, hunt, & farm, with their families, and for their communities.
