Ride With Ryan's Ryan De Groote hosted a cycling event last weekend that was a treat in more ways than one. Alongside some fantastic gravel riding, participants also took part in a bake sale with all proceeds going to FTP. Together, Ryan and his fellow cyclists raised nearly $740! 🧁

We're so grateful to Ryan and everyone who donated their delicious baked goods to make this fundraiser a success. 💙

We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali. This is a profound loss felt across our entire community, and we stand with our friends and partners at Dufferin OPP and OPP Central Region as they grieve.💙

To honour the memory of OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali, two condolence books have been set up for members of the community.

One book is available in the lobby of Dufferin’s Primrose Detachment, located at 506312 Highway 89 in Mono, and the other at Dufferin’s Orangeville Detachment, located at 390 C Line in Orangeville.

Community members are welcome to attend either location during regular business hours to sign the book and leave messages of condolence. Members of the public are also invited to submit condolences for Provincial Constable Bali by visiting opp.ca/news.

A huge thank you to our friends at the Dufferin Piecemakers Quilting Guild for their continued generosity! Yesterday, Louise (pictured right) dropped off three bags full of their beautiful handmade quilts, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Guild members also regularly donate brand new notebooks for our clients, and these thoughtful contributions make a real difference. We're so lucky to have such dedicated supporters in our community!

Thank you! ❤️

On Thursday, the FIFA World Cup kicks off in North America, with games taking place across Canada, Mexico, and the United States over the next five weeks. While fans across all three countries eagerly anticipate their teams playing, women’s organizations are raising the alarm about likely increased levels of gender-based violence. Join WSC, Red Nacional de Refugios A.C. (Mexico), and the The National Network to End Domestic Violence (USA) in our international, trilingual campaign to ensure that World Cup fans experiencing violence are aware of local supports: https://endvaw.ca/news/fifa-2026/
