Our Grants Chair Shirley Boxem and committee member Ernie Lynch recently toured the new HART Hub Dufferin In Orangeville.

Operated by Services and Housing In the Province - SHIP and supported by a network of community partners (see full list below), the HART Hub provides integrated mental health, addictions, housing, and basic needs support for individuals in Dufferin County.

“What stood out most during our visit was the genuine care behind this space,” shared Shirley Boxem. “Every person deserves support, dignity, and hope during difficult times, and this space represents our community coming together to make sure no one has to face those challenges alone.”

Thank you to SHIP, the Province of Ontario, and the many local agencies and partners who are building a more connected and compassionate system of care right here in Dufferin County.

🎓 Graduating students from Westside Secondary School, Orangeville District Secondary School and Centre Dufferin District High School – we are still accepting applications for the 2026 W. & M. Edelbrock Bursary Program.

💸 Three students will each receive a $3,125 bursary (renewable for up to 4 years) to support their post-secondary education, including college, university or trade school.
