Happy Halloween from OFTR! 🎃

In the spirit of Halloween, we want to know…

What’s the scariest trail obstacle you’ve learned to conquer?

Rocks? Roots? Logs? Mud? Hill climbs?

Let us know in the comments!

Have a safe and happy Halloween weekend!

A little cold-weather riding reminder from Moto Canada!

As temperatures drop, so can your tire pressure. Before heading out on the trails, take a moment to check your tire pressure and make sure your bike is ready for the ride.

A few simple checks before heading out can make a big difference!

Thanks to Moto Canada for sharing these important safety reminders.

❄️ Cold mornings. Cold tires.

Tire pressure drops as the temperature does, and cold rubber grips less than you think. Check your pressure before every ride, then give your tires a few kilometres to warm up before you push it.

A great day of learning and building skills!

This past Sunday, Simcoe County Offroad Riders Association hosted a first aid training session focused on building practical skills and helping participants feel more prepared to respond in an emergency.

When you're out on the trails, knowing how to respond when something goes wrong can make a real difference. Opportunities like this help strengthen safety awareness and preparedness within Ontario's off-road riding community.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this training possible!

This training was supported through the 2026 Experience Simcoe County Partnership Fund. We're grateful for their support in helping make opportunities like this possible!
