The Best of Canadian and International Film MNM was launched in 1997 and is run by a committee of volunteers.

Monday Night at the Movies (MNM) is a non-profit organization running in partnership with the Film Circuit, a division of the Toronto International Film Festival Group (Tiff). The Film Circuit now has more than 190 locations across Canada screening Canadian and international films in communities that otherwise would not have the opportunity to see them.

Great news! 5 of the 6 requested dates for winter/spring 2027 have been confirmed by Cineplex. The 6th date will likely be confirmed shortly.
Here they are:

February 1
February 22
March 1 (to be confirmed)
April 12
April 26
All Mondays of course.

Once our requested films have been confirmed we will post them on our website and on another Facebook post.

Join us this coming Monday, October 26th, at Galaxy Cinemas, Orangeville for our screening of I Swear.

Tickets are available at BookLore until 3:00pm on Monday, October 26th, and then at our Monday Night at the Movies box office table at Galaxy. Three screenings: 4:30, 7:00, & 9:10pm. Tickets are $10 cash only.

Funny, honest, and deeply human, I Swear tells the inspirational true story of John Davidson, a trailblazer whose honesty and humour helped the world better understand what it means to live with Tourette syndrome.

Based on a true story, I Swear charts the remarkable journey of a Scottish man whose life was irrevocably changed by the sudden onset of Tourette syndrome. Feeling ostracized by the world around him — including his own family — he retreats into years of relative isolation, burdened by the anxiety, shame, and loneliness that can often accompany the neurological condition.

Everything shifts when John (now in his late twenties) meets Dottie, the no-nonsense mother of a former schoolmate, who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

I Swear is a life-affirming story filled with humour and grace, and it is a tribute to a man whose resilience helped rewrite the narrative around Tourette syndrome by embracing its truths and showing the world how to think differently.

On Monday, April 27 at Galaxy Cinemas, Orangeville, Monday Night at the Movies will end their season with screenings of TOW. Tickets are available until 3:00pm Monday the 27th and will then be available at the MNM box office table at Galaxy. Tickets are $10, cash only. Three screenings: 4:30, 7:00 and 9:10pm.
