The films are in.

Over the past months, filmmakers from across Canada have trusted us with their stories, and now the next stage begins. Every official submission for the 2026 Dufferin Film Festival has been received and is heading to our jury for review.

Soon, we'll be unveiling this year's Official Selections, introducing new festival experiences for 2026, and opening ticket sales for what promises to be our best festival yet.

From powerful documentaries and unforgettable dramas to bold new voices and fresh perspectives, Canadian independent filmmakers continue to prove that some of the most compelling stories are being told right here at home.

Thank you to every filmmaker who submitted their work, every volunteer, sponsor, supporter, and audience member who helps make this festival possible. We can't wait to share what's next.
