As part of our ongoing seva at Farmhouse Garden Animal Home , ACT Foundation Canada volunteer Pooja Sheth delivered approximately 38.20 kg of fresh fruits and vegetables, including juicy watermelons, for the animals to enjoy. ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿฅฌ

Each visit to this beautiful sanctuary is a reminder of what compassion can create. Founded by Mike Lanigan in 2016, Farmhouse Garden began with a simple yet profound choiceโ€”to give animals a life beyond slaughter. Today, it is a peaceful home where they are cared for, respected, and allowed to live with dignity.

In loving memory of Ammu, volunteers Shriram, Sindhu, Manisha, and Ketan came together with compassion and dedication to serve those in need last Saturday.

In collaboration with Gore Park Community Outreach, the team distributed 300 freshly made samosas to individuals in downtown Hamilton, sharing not just a warm meal but also kindness and care with the community. โค๏ธ

ACT Foundation Canada Volunteers Bimal, Nisha, Anukrishnan and 3 young volunteers donated essential food items to The Mustard Seed homeless shelter in Edmonton, Alberta, to help support individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

The donated items included Potatoes, Rice, Oatmeal cereal, Kidney beans, Pasta (macaroni), Lentils. The total weight of the donated food was 65 kgs.

This contribution reflects ACT Foundation Canada's commitment to supporting local communities and helping ensure that nutritious food reaches those who need it most.

We continue serving with love and compassion in memory of Ammu who was the inspiration behind ACT Foundation Canada ( ACT Foundation globally) and Ammucare. ๐Ÿ™

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, ACT Foundation Canada volunteers under the initiative of Act4animals, purchased and delivered food items today to the Fauna Foundation , Canada's only chimpanzee sanctuary located in Carignan in Quebec.

Our team purchased and delivered 51.86 kg of nutritious food for the sanctuary's residents on this beautiful day, contributing to their ongoing care and well-being.

A special highlight of the visit was meeting Tatou, one of the resident chimpanzees, who warmly greeted us and requested (and received) a few bananas, which she thoroughly enjoyed. It was a heartwarming reminder of the meaningful connections that compassion can foster.

We are thankful for our volunteers Kripa and Bharath for their support to the incredible work of the Fauna Foundation in providing lifelong care to rescued chimpanzees.

As part of the occasion, ACT Foundation Canada volunteer Pooja Sheth delivered approximately 71.10 kg of fresh fruits and vegetables, including juicy watermelons, to the wonderful residents of Farmhouse Garden Animal Home .

What makes this sanctuary so special is the vision behind it. Established in 2016, it began when founder Mike Lanigan made the life-changing decision to stop sending animals to slaughter. Since then, it has grown into a peaceful refuge where every animal is given the care, love, and dignity they deserve.

This offering was more than just a donationโ€”it was a reminder that kindness nourishes not only those who receive it but also those who give.

ACT Foundation Canada volunteers carried out a heartfelt hot meals donation at Gore Park Community Outreach in Downtown Hamilton last Saturday.

This act of kindness was dedicated to the joyful occasion of Sindhu and Shriram's wedding anniversary, transforming their celebration into one of compassion and giving.

With love and dedication, volunteers Shriram, Sindhu, Abhinav and their friend Preeti served 150 freshly cooked hot meals of chickpeas and rice. The wholesome meal was lovingly prepared by Sindhu and was received with heartfelt appreciation by the community.

Every meal shared is a reminder that even a simple act of kindness can bring warmth, hope, and dignity to someone's day.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the volunteers and supporters who made this seva possible.

As part of ACT Foundation Canada's ongoing commitment to supporting communities, volunteer Arvind, along with younger volunteer Haresh, generously donated 26 kg of food items and 8 litres of juice packs to the Clarington Food Bank in Bowmanville for the month of June.

Their thoughtful contribution will help provide essential nourishment to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
