✨ 𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡✨

ACT Foundation Canada volunteers Shriram, Sindhu, Abhinav and Sudheer came together for a heartfelt food seva at Gore Park Community Outreach in downtown Hamilton yesterday.

A total of 150 freshly prepared hot meals of chickpeas and rice were served to individuals in need. The wholesome and nourishing meal was lovingly cooked by Sindhu, reflecting the compassion and care that goes into every act of service.

A warm meal is more than just food. It brings comfort, spreads kindness and reminds someone that they are cared for and not forgotten.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers and supporters whose time, efforts and generosity made this seva possible. ❤️

𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐌 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚✨🐄

On October 11th, Thanksgiving Sunday, ACT Foundation Canada volunteers Bimal, Nisha, Anukrishnan, and our three little volunteers, Jaanki, Jia, and Jay, had a wonderful opportunity to visit FARRM Animal SanctuaryGwynne ( near Wetaskiwin) Alberta under the initiative of Act4animals.

Through Marc from Vegans and Vegetarians of Alberta, we were connected with Melissa, the owner of FARRM Animal Sanctuary.

Melissa and Marc kindly showed us around the sanctuary. We spent some wonderful moments with the rescued animals and learned more about the sanctuary and the care provided to them. ❤️

As part of our visit, we donated approximately 45.3 kgs of food, including fresh fruits, vegetables such as Gala apples, pears, bananas, carrots, English cucumbers, mini watermelons, romaine lettuce, and pita bread. Our volunteers also made personal financial contributions towards the sanctuary to support the animals’ ongoing needs.

It was a meaningful Thanksgiving experience for all of us, especially our little volunteers, who had the opportunity to connect with the animals and learn about kindness and compassion towards all living beings.

Vijayadashmi (Dussehra) is a time to reflect on the victory of good over evil, embrace the light of wisdom, and express gratitude through selfless service. 🙏💜

During this auspicious occasion, we chose to celebrate these values in a simple yet meaningful way—through seva and the sharing of food with those who cannot ask for it themselves.

As part of our continued seva at Farmhouse Garden Animal Home, ACT Foundation Canada volunteer Pooja Sheth delivered approximately 60 kg of fresh fruits and vegetables for the animals at the sanctuary. 🥬🍎🐾

Mohanji reminds us that true spirituality is reflected in our actions. Vijayadashmi offers us an opportunity to overcome negativity within ourselves and honour the spirit of goodness through compassion, generosity, and selfless service. Feeding the hungry and caring for people, animals, birds, and even the smallest creatures becomes a beautiful expression of these values.

For us, this seva carries a deeper meaning. It is not simply about providing food—it is about celebrating the triumph of compassion over indifference and expressing the spirit of goodness through kindness towards the lives around us.

𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐫-𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚 🐾🧡

ACT Foundation Canada volunteers under the initiative of Act4animals had the pleasure of visiting Fur-Ever Farm Canada in Mono, Ontario, a sanctuary that provides care, love, and shelter to rescued, disabled, and special-needs animals.

As part of our commitment to animal welfare, we contributed 176.29 kg of animal and bird feed to help meet the nutritional needs of the farm’s residents. 🐾🌿

During the visit, volunteers Manjiri and Gaurav spent meaningful time at the farm with the animals especially with Daisy, Norman, Gracie, Noise who responded with love in their own way.

They met 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐲, whose dedication and love for the animals was amazing and it was commendable to see her determination to keep the place running after a mishap of garage fire sometime back. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of compassion and caring for all living beings.

🐾Last weekend, ACT Foundation Canada volunteer Manisha extended a helping hand to the animals at Shelby’s Ranch Farm in Puslinch, Ontario, by donating 18 kg of fresh fruits and carrots.

Animals, just like humans, deserve love, care, and compassion. Through initiatives like these, ACT Foundation Canada continues to promote kindness towards all living beings and encourage people to make compassionate choices in their everyday lives.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Manisha for her thoughtful contribution and dedication to animal seva during Pitrupaksha, a sacred time to honour the ancestors. . 🙏❤️

ACT Foundation Canada volunteers Abhinav and Shriram donated 200 samosas during a community outreach initiative at Gore Park Community Outreach in Downtown Hamilton, marking Abhinav’s birthday in a truly meaningful way. 🙏

Kudos to our young volunteer Abhinav for choosing to celebrate his special day by giving back to the community and bringing warmth, kindness, and a little joy to others. 👏

𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🐒✨

ACT Foundation Canada volunteers Kripa and Bharath under the initiative of ACT 4 Animals purchased and donated 38.7 kg of fresh fruits, nuts, and applesauce for the resident chimpanzees at the Fauna Foundation in Carignan, Quebec on September 2nd.

The chimpanzees have come to recognize when the volunteers arrive with their delivery. As soon as they see their familiar visitors, they come out to greet them, eagerly anticipating the wonderful treats that have arrived.

Some of the chimpanzees can communicate using American Sign Language (ASL), and they are quick to make their requests—bananas, apples, lettuce, and other favourites, depending on what is included in each delivery. With the help of Fauna Foundation caregivers, the requested treats are provided, and the chimpanzees relish them immediately, much to the delight of the volunteer who brought them.

These visits are a joyful reminder of the meaningful connections that can develop between humans and rescued animals.

As part of our ongoing seva at Farmhouse Garden Animal Home , ACT Foundation Canada volunteer Pooja Sheth delivered approximately 38.20 kg of fresh fruits and vegetables, including juicy watermelons, for the animals to enjoy. 🍉🥬

Each visit to this beautiful sanctuary is a reminder of what compassion can create. Founded by Mike Lanigan in 2016, Farmhouse Garden began with a simple yet profound choice—to give animals a life beyond slaughter. Today, it is a peaceful home where they are cared for, respected, and allowed to live with dignity.

A warm thank you to Sarah for always making us feel welcome, and to Edith for coordinating everything with such care. 🙏

Month after month, we are reminded that seva is not about one big gesture. It is about showing up consistently, giving with love, and making compassion part of our everyday lives. 💜
