Our food bank is dedicated to addressing food insecurity in the Coboconk area.

With the collaboration of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and community partners, we strive to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry

We are asking for help.

For the past 6 months, our food bank costs have exceeded our revenue. Demand remains high, food costs continue to rise, and our resources are being stretched.

We are committed to supporting our neighbours, but we need the community behind us.

Please consider donating food, making a financial contribution, or sharing this message.

Together, we can help make sure no one in our community faces food insecurity alone.

Our food bank is 100% volunteer-run and donation-driven. That means every dollar, every food item, and every act of support comes from people in our community helping their neighbours. We do not do this work alone — we rely on the generosity of local residents, businesses, groups, and organizations to keep the food bank operating.

We are doing everything we can with volunteer time and donated resources, but we need help to keep up.

An enormous thank you to Shepherd Environmental Services for their incredibly generous donation of $6,000 to the Coboconk & Area Food Bank!

This remarkable contribution will go a long way toward keeping our shelves stocked and ensuring that individuals and families in our community have access to the food and essentials they need.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization funded almost entirely by community donations, support of this magnitude makes an extraordinary difference. It allows us to stretch our resources further, purchase food where it's needed most, and continue helping our neighbours through difficult times.

To everyone at Shepherd Environmental Services, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and commitment to our community. We're truly grateful to have such wonderful supporters standing alongside us!

🛒 This week’s wish list: a little help for November!

As we prepare for our November food distribution and look ahead to the holidays, Coboconk & Area Food Bank would be grateful for donations of:

🥣 Stuffing mix
🥫 Cranberry sauce
🌽 Canned vegetables
🍽️ Gravy mix (Cans or Powdered)
🥔 Boxed potatoes

Adding an extra item to your grocery cart is a simple way to help a neighbour. Every donation helps our entirely volunteer-run food bank prepare for the weeks ahead.

To our clients, volunteers, donors, and all our neighbours—you’re part of the CAFB family, and we’re so thankful for you.

Every bag of groceries shared, every dollar donated, and every hour volunteered is an act of kindness that reaches someone close to home. Together, you make our community a place where neighbours care for one another.

Monck’s Landing members have done it again! ❤️

The Wednesday Night Men’s League members contributed $300 for the Coboconk & Area Food Bank, while the September member event raised over $1,800, including a $500 donation from Monck’s Landing!

We’re so grateful for the generosity of the Monck’s Landing members. Your continued support helps keep our shelves stocked and puts food on the tables of neighbours who need a hand.

As a 100% volunteer-run food bank funded almost entirely by community donations, we know just how much this kindness matters. Thank you to the members and everyone at Monck’s Landing for continuing to make our community part of yours!

What an incredible show of generosity from our community! The Rat Rod Ruckus on October 3rd raised $3,694 in cash and brought in approximately $5,000 worth of food for the Coboconk & Area Food Bank!

We’re so grateful to Rick Stewart and the Norland Co****le League for hosting, and to everyone who donated, joined in, or helped pull it all together. Bringing people together for a good time and making such a big difference for local families is something to be proud of!

For our 100% volunteer-run food bank, funded almost entirely by community donations, this support means so much. It means stocked shelves, help buying the food we need most, and more neighbours getting the support they need.

Coboconk, Norland & Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an All Candidates Meeting so our community can hear directly from those running for Mayor and Ward 1!
