A big thank you to the Indian Point Cottage Association for once again supporting the Coboconk & Area Food Bank!

Their annual Fun Run this past weekend raised another $600 for the food bank, bringing their total support this season to more than $7,100, along with generous grocery donations.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued generosity of the Indian Point community. Support like this goes a long way toward helping us keep our shelves stocked and provide food to neighbours throughout our area.

As a 100% volunteer-run food bank funded almost entirely by community donations, we simply could not do what we do without people and communities like this behind us.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, organized, and helped make this year’s Fun Run another wonderful success!

A huge thank you to Home Hardware Building Centre Coboconk for once again showing such wonderful support for the Coboconk & Area Food Bank!

Their recent BBQ fundraiser raised an incredible $1,700 in cash, along with a couple of bins filled with donated food for our shelves.

We are so grateful to everyone at Home Hardware who organized and supported the BBQ, and to everyone in the community who stopped by, made a donation, or contributed food. That kind of local generosity makes a very real difference for the neighbours we serve.

As a 100% volunteer-run food bank funded almost entirely by community donations, support like this helps us continue putting food on the shelves and assisting families throughout Coboconk, Norland, Kirkfield, Burnt River, Rosedale and the surrounding area.

Thank you, Home Hardware Coboconk, and thank you to everyone who helped make the fundraiser such a success!

Not everyone is in a position to donate right now - and we understand.
But you can still help.

Sharing our posts helps us reach people who may be able to contribute food, funds, or volunteer support. It also helps raise awareness about the growing need in our community.

Our food bank costs have exceeded our revenue for the past 6 months, and awareness matters.

A share may seem small, but it can lead to real help.

Our food bank is 100% volunteer-run and donation-driven. That means every dollar, every food item, and every act of support comes from people in our community helping their neighbours. We do not do this work alone - we rely on the generosity of local residents, businesses, groups, and organizations to keep the food bank operating.

Even sharing our message helps connect us with people who may be able to support the food bank.

A tremendous thank you to the Hunter Family and everyone who supported the Indian Point Annual Food Drive over the Civic Holiday weekend!

This year’s drive raised an incredible $6,550.50, along with two carloads of donated food. Together, these donations will help cover more than a full month of food purchases for the Coboconk & Area Food Bank.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization funded almost entirely by community donations, this kind of support has an enormous impact on our ability to help local neighbours facing food insecurity.

We are so grateful to the Hunter Family for once again bringing the community together, and to every person who donated food or funds. Thank you for making this year’s food drive such an outstanding success!

We know times are hard for many people right now.

Groceries cost more. Housing costs more. Utilities cost more. For some households, there simply isn't enough left at the end of the month.
That is why the food bank matters.

We are here to help our neighbours - but we cannot do it without community support. Our costs have exceeded our revenue for the last 6 months, and we need help to keep up with the need.

Please donate if you can. Please share this post if you can't.

Our food bank is 100% volunteer-run and donation-driven. That means every dollar, every food item, and every act of support comes from people in our community helping their neighbours. We do not do this work alone - we rely on the generosity of local residents, businesses, groups, and organizations to keep the food bank operating.

We are neighbours helping neighbours, and we rely on the community to keep that support available.

A heartfelt thank you to Desjardins for their generous donation of non-perishable food items, including much-needed proteins and vegetables.

We would especially like to recognize Karen Low and Mark Parnell, who made this wonderful donation possible. Your thoughtfulness and commitment to supporting local families is deeply appreciated.

Food donations are always appreciated - but financial donations are especially helpful right now.

When you donate funds to the food bank, we can purchase the items most needed, when they are needed most. This helps us fill gaps, buy in bulk where possible, and respond quickly when demand changes.

Our costs have exceeded our revenue for the past 6 months, and we are asking the community to help us close that gap.

A small donation can make a meaningful difference.

Our food bank is 100% volunteer-run and donation-driven. That means every dollar, every food item, and every act of support comes from people in our community helping their neighbours. We do not do this work alone - we rely on the generosity of local residents, businesses, groups, and organizations to keep the food bank operating.

Financial donations give our volunteers the flexibility to purchase what is needed most.
