The Hyack Festival Association has been shining the spotlight on New Westminster for more than 40 years. Established by the City of New Westminster in 1971, we have been building community spirit through the delivery of a kaleidoscope of annual festivals and events. Our members, staff and community volunteers have helped preserve the City’s rich history while promoting New Westmin
ster beyond its borders.Fully supported by the City of New Westminster, we are proud to present a variety of annual celebratory events that attract a broad regional audience. Festival Week culminates with the storied Hyack International Parade and Uptown Live, the city’s vibrant new street festival. The Hyack Festival Association prides itself on the many community partnerships we have formed with major businesses, community and charitable organizations, arts groups and other key community stakeholders. The New Westminster Hyack Festival Association is a non-profit society and a registered charity (charitable registration no. 11905 6992 RP0001).
