What a wonderful afternoon of dance, tradition, and learning 🇬🇷

Anemos was so happy to host a special workshop with Eleni Balafa and Giorgos Koniaris, bringing our dancers together for an afternoon dedicated to Greek traditional dance and culture.

Eleni shared the dances and traditions of Syrrako, while Giorgos took us through the dances and traditions of Argithea. We are so grateful for the knowledge, history and experiences they shared with us and for the opportunity to learn directly from two people with such a deep connection to these regions and their traditions.

A very special thank you to Nikos Antonopoulos from Seattle for connecting us with Eleni and Giorgos and giving us the opportunity to host them while they were here in the Pacific Northwest.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and most of all, thank you Eleni and Giorgos for sharing your knowledge and passion with us. It was a privilege to welcome you to Vancouver! 🇬🇷❤️
