The 12th Street Festival made a HUGE splash for its return this year! 🎉🧡

We couldn’t have asked for a better day filled with amazing local vendors, incredible performers, delicious food, family fun, and—most importantly—all of YOU!

12th Street is such a special and often overlooked part of New Westminster, and we’re so proud to have brought the community together to celebrate everything this neighbourhood has to offer.

Rain or shine, there’s always fun to be had on 12th Street! ☀️🌧️🎶

🌿 We’re making this year’s 12th Street Festival a little greener! From Metro Vancouver’s Water Wagon 💧 and waste sorting stations ♻️ to sustainably printed signage 🖨️, we’re proud to be taking steps toward a more earth-friendly event.

You can help too! Bring your reusable water bottle and shopping bags, and leave the car at home if you can. 🚶‍♀️🚲🚌 Walking, biking, or taking transit is the best way to get to the festival and helps reduce our environmental impact.

Small actions make a big difference. Let’s work together to keep our community—and our planet—beautiful. 🌎💚

We’re thrilled to welcome the Vancouver Circus School to the festival with an interactive circus workshop that’s fun for all ages!

Ever wanted to juggle? Balance a spinning plate? Test your coordination with real circus skills? Now’s your chance! Their talented instructors will be there to teach, encourage, and cheer you on in a safe, hands-on environment that’s guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs and unforgettable memories.

It takes a village to create an amazing community festival, and we need your help!

Join the team behind the 12th Street Festival on Sunday, July 26 and be part of one of New Westminster’s biggest and most exciting community events. We have a variety of volunteer shifts and tasks available throughout the day, making it easy to find a role that fits your schedule.

As a volunteer, you’ll receive:
👕 A festival volunteer T-shirt
🤝 A brief training session before the event
📱 WhatsApp group coordination and support
🌮 A food voucher to enjoy at participating vendor booths

💧 Don’t forget to bring your own reusable water bottle to refill at the station!
