Thank you to Beachcomber Hot Tubs for supporting May Day in New Westminster.

Behind every beautiful community celebration, there are people and businesses who say yes. Yes to children dancing. Yes to families gathering. Yes to traditions that help a city remember who it is.

May Day is more than a ceremony. It is a shared memory, passed from one generation to the next.

We are grateful to for helping support this year’s celebration and for being part of a tradition that continues to mean so much to New Westminster.

A heartfelt thank you to Key West Ford for supporting May Day in New Westminster.

May Day is built on community. It lives because local families show up, children learn the dances, volunteers give their time, and local businesses choose to stand behind a tradition that has been part of this city for generations.

Your support helps keep this beloved celebration moving forward for the children, families, and community members who make May Day so special.

Thank you, for helping us continue a New Westminster tradition that brings people together year after year.

Thank you, New Westminster 🌸

The 156th May Day came together because so many people showed up, with time, care, energy, and heart.

To our dancers, Royal Suite, and their families, thank you for the commitment it takes to be part of this.
To our volunteers, thank you for making the day run smoothly from start to finish.
To our guest performers, thank you for bringing such vibrant energy to the celebration.
To our speakers, elected officials, and honoured guests, thank you for standing with this tradition.
To our past Royal Suites and May Queens, it meant so much to have you there.
To our longtime supporters, thank you for helping carry May Day forward.

And to our funder and sponsors, your support helps make May Day possible and brings the celebration to life for our community.

For 156 years, this tradition has continued because people choose to keep it going.

Thank you for creating May Day history and memories!

Community does not build itself. It grows when children are given joyful, meaningful ways to belong.

For 156 years, May Day has brought New Westminster together through dance, ceremony, and shared tradition. It gives children a chance to step into something positive, to be seen, to be celebrated, and to experience culture not as something distant, but as something living that they can carry forward.

That matters.

When children are surrounded by music, movement, encouragement, and community pride, they grow into that feeling. They remember it. They take it with them.

🌸 156th May Day is a chance to gather as a city and give children exactly that kind of experience — uplifting, memorable, and rooted in connection.
