We are a non-profit, social and advocacy organization looking to strengthen relationships within the Sierra Leonean Community in B.C, engage in topical issues of interest to the members of the organization including addressing issues and needs in Sierra Leone. As such, the SLCBC’s primary activities will center on the exchange of information and cooperation between members, promote togetherness, e

xpose the rich culture of Sierra Leone and conduct organizational programs and activities that will advance the general interest and welfare of Sierra Leoneans in their respective communities across BC. Key enabling undertakings will include:

Identifying and addressing the needs of members. General advocacy to address topical issues of concern for members. Social events to foster friendship among members and other groups. Workshops, seminars and functions to build capacity and share ideas. Fund raising activities to address developmental needs in Sierra Leone.
