Nanaimo Equestrian Association

Nanaimo Equestrian Association NEA is a non-profit society that promotes & fosters equestrian activities and sports in the Mid Vancouver Island area.

NEA is the group that manages Beban Park Equestrian Center. It is a non-profit society, with volunteers creating a professional and well maintained site for equestrian and non-equestrian events. NEA is proud to offer a facility with the most stalls available in the Mid-Island area, perfect for large events, with ample space to park and maneuver trailers that most facilities do not have. Although B

eban Park is a perfect choice for large events, NEA can also cater to small events, renting out only part of the facility at a day rate or an hourly cost. NEA encourages schooling shows and clinics, encouraging Mid-Island youth to become involved in Equestrian sports at a lower cost than at other facilities. The equestrian grounds consists of four riding rings:
- 70 feet by 200 feet, indoor sand footing ring
- 134 feet by 235 feet, outside wood fiber footing ring
- 236 feet by 88 feet, outside wood fiber footing ring
- 120 feet by 240 feet, outside sand footing ring

Other features of the facility consist of:
- A show office and announcer's room with a PA system
- Washrooms
- Seating for all rings
- 118 covered stalls
- On site shavings and manure dumping site
- Running water to all the barns
- Ample parking area for trailers and vehicles
- Ring preparation prior to your event
- Meeting space for seated gatherings and education

What an incredible 3 days with Jodie Moore

A huge thank you to every rider who came out, worked hard, stayed coachable, and put in the miles with their horses over the weekend. Watching everyone learn, grow, and support each other is what these clinics are all about.

Thank you as well to all of the auditors who came to watch, learn, and cheer everyone on from the sidelines. Your support and enthusiasm never go unnoticed.

And behind every successful clinic is a hardworking crew. Endless gratitude to everyone who helped organize, set up, clean up, coordinate, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure the weekend came together the way it did.
Clinics like this don’t happen without a dedicated team putting in countless hours behind the scenes.

It truly takes a village — and this one showed up in the best way. Thank you all for making this clinic such a success. 🐴✨
