CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Danish Club has invited us to join them for their Christmas Party again, and we had so much fun last year that it was an easy yes. Come celebrate the Christmas season with a traditional holiday meal of roast pork with crackling, red cabbage, brown and white potatoes with gravy, and Scandinavian rice pudding for dessert. Happy hour at 5pm, dinner to follow at 6pm.
We will enjoy a lovely Scandinavian Christmas meal, dance around the Christmas tree, sing a few carols and party together. Please consider bringing friends and family along to make up a table of those you wish to sit with. Note that our liquor license allows children to join us up until 10pm under their parent’s care.
Tickets are to be reserved ahead but paid at the door. You must reserve for your entire party so the caterer has the number of guests. If you are unable to make it you can cancel up to one week before the event, but after this date are expected to pay for your ticket.
As we are doing this party in partnership with the Danish Club, we do hope some members will offer to stay to help clean up to make things quick and easy. There will also be a raffle and donations to be raffled off can be brought to the event. Consumables and quality items are welcome as donations.
Location: Upstairs at the Nanaimo Yacht Club. Wheelchair access is at the top doors, off Rosehill St. and Newcastle Ave.
