🐾 Looking for something fun to do in Nanaimo next weekend? 🐾

The Nanaimo Kennel Club invites you to join us for our All Breed Dog Show, June 18–21, 2026, at the Centennial Building Field, Beban Park!

Come watch beautiful dogs compete in conformation events as they are evaluated against their breed standards. From tiny toy breeds to majestic working dogs, you’ll see a wonderful variety of breeds and meet passionate exhibitors who love their dogs.

📅 Show Schedule:
• Thursday, June 18 – Starts at 2:00 PM
• Friday, June 19 – Starts at 9:00 AM
• Saturday, June 20 – Starts at 9:00 AM
• Sunday, June 21 – Starts at 8:30 AM

🐶 Four All-Breed Conformation Shows
🐶 Baby Puppy Competition (all four days)
🐶 Breeder/Owner/Handler Competition (Friday)
🐶 Junior Handling (Sunday)

🍔 Food trucks on site
🎟️ FREE admission
📍 Centennial Building Field, Beban Park, Nanaimo

Whether you’re a dog lover, considering adding a purebred dog to your family, or simply looking for a fun day out, everyone is welcome!

📸 Don’t forget your camera—there will be plenty of beautiful dogs to admire!

Please note: While we love all dogs, this is a spectator event only. For the safety and comfort of the competing dogs, please leave your own four-legged friends at home. Only dogs entered in the event are permitted on the show grounds.

The Nanaimo Kennel Club is pleased to invite you to a presentation and chat with Dr. David MacDonald, DVM from Comox Valley Animal Hospital.

WHEN: Monday, January 26th starting at 7 pm
LOCATION: Beban Park, meeting rooms 7 and 8

Dr. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge to share with us about the wonders of dog breeding and how to prepare for a litter. He will talk generally about breeding and more specifically about TCI - Transcervical Insemination. Timing for breeding, progesterone and the shipment, freezing and storing of semen.

This is an OPEN invite to NKC club members and non members interested in dog breeding - there is no fee and no registration required.
