If you’ve ever visited the Nanaimo Hospice Thrift Shoppe on a Thursday morning, chances are you’ve been greeted by these two wonderful volunteers.
Alice has been volunteering with us for over 6 years, and Diane for more than 10 years. Their kindness, dedication, and welcoming smiles have become a cherished part of our Thursday mornings.
When asked what they love most about volunteering, they both said it’s the wonderful customers they meet and the friendship they share while working together.
