Sally is from her foster home. Please message or email us ([email protected]) to meet Sally.

Female, domestic short hair, white with brown tabby

Are you looking for a cat that would be perfectly suited to a smaller home, condo, or apartment? Perhaps a companion who is well past the busy kitten stage?

Sally may be exactly the cat you’ve been waiting for.

Sally is a beautiful older lady with drowsy bedroom eyes outlined in her own natural “eyeliner,” and adorable permanent “lipstick” markings around her mouth. Her short coat covers a compact little body, making her as cute as she is charming.

Foster Mom says, “The older the violin, the sweeter the music,” and that perfectly describes Sally. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate once she feels safe and secure.

Sally is looking for her perfect retirement home. She will be shy at first in her new home but with consistency, patience, and a predictable routine, Sally’s confidence will blossom.

Large spaces can still feel overwhelming for her, so she currently enjoys the comfort of a bright, cozy bedroom and bathroom with plenty of windows to watch the world go by.

Sally loves cuddles — always on her terms. While Foster Mom works on the computer, Sally often jumps up to rest on her arm. She’s fascinated by shadows and enjoys games with Foster Dad, especially at night when she happily chases both her own shadow and his around the room.

At bedtime, Sally likes to sleep right between Foster Mom and Dad, though sometimes she chooses her little bed or favorite tunnel instead. She uses her scratching post beautifully and enjoys racing up and down around it during playtime.

Sally would need to be the only pet in the home, as she prefers not to share her space with other animals. She would thrive in a quiet home with a couple or single person who will appreciate her gentle, loving personality.

All in all, Sally is a wonderful little companion just waiting for the right person to love her forever.

Sally is sensitive to environmental stress so her optimal home needs to be on the quiet side, with no children, other pets or loud noises, as well as smaller in size to help her feel comfortable. She prefers to have access to more than one litter box.

She would thrive in a quiet predictable home with a cat savvy mature couple or single person who will appreciate her gentle, loving personality.

She needs to live in a condo/apartment type environment - not suitable for a house as she finds the large spaces overwhelming.

Sally can be a little particular about her meals, and information on her preferred food brands and favourites will be provided to help make her transition into a new home as smooth as possible.

Callaghan is from Bosley's Bowen Road, Nanaimo

Male, domestic short hair, brown tabby

Callaghan is a confident and friendly 2-year-old with lots of personality. He enjoys attention, he loves being played with, and his little squeaky meow will melt your heart.

Callaghan has a lot of energy and would thrive with regular play sessions and someone who enjoys an interactive, engaged cat.

He especially loves wand games and chasing jingly balls down the hall.

He’s comfortable being picked up and when you’re ready to relax he’ll find a cozy spot near you or in your lap. He also has excellent litter box manners.

Callaghan is a fun and friendly boy who is ready to make himself at home with you.

:
Callaghan thrives on attention and wants a home where he will get lots of attention and can be with his people/person. He would be great in a family that works from home or is retired.

He can get a little over stimulated and give gentle love bites. He is easily redirected to a toy. We suspect this may lessen as he full integrates into his forever family.

Cats: Yes, would likely be ok with other cats but would also do great as a companion kitty to someone who is around a lot.
Dogs: Unknown, Callaghan didn’t meet dogs while in CatNap’s care
Kids: Yes, older school aged and up cat savvy kids as Callaghan can give little love bites when he gets overstimulated .

Estimated age: 2 years old

• Callaghan has been neutered
• Callaghan experienced upper respiratory infection while in foster care and has since recovered well. This is usually caused by the feline herpes simplex virus and is very common in rescued cats and kittens. We helped manage this kitty cold by adding a common amino acid supplement, lysine, to wet food daily. A cat may have a flare-up of symptoms in future due to stress, such as a change of environment such as an adoption centre and/or new home. A document explaining this in more detail will be included with the health record card given at time of adoption.

Trifle is from his foster home, message or email ([email protected]) to meet Trifle.

Male, domestic short hair, brown tabby

Trifles name should really be Trifle the Bold!, underlined, exclamation mark. Trifle is big personality in a small package, with intense expressive eyes that exude intelligence. Trifle is marked like a Bengal cat and has a long lean athletic body. He is a cat you notice!

Trifle LOVES people. He craves contact and cuddles. Purrs instantly when he sees you and will shove his face in your hand before you can even attempt to pet him.

Trifle is enthusiastic and passionate about everything in his life. Treats best thing ever. Pats best thing ever. Toys best thing ever.

Trifle can become over stimulated and a bit mouthy when being petted, but only because he LOVES the contact so intensely that he gets overwhelmed by his feelings. He would need a cat savvy home with no small children so he can continue to receive guidance and learn appropriate ways to express his affection.

Trifle was born outside and did not have human contact early in life so is still learning about humans and life indoors. He may be startled and hide when encountering new people or situation, but with physical reassurance from pats and cuddles he quickly gains confidence. Trifle foster mom is teaching him that being picked up is not scary and every day he gets braver and braver. His foster mom can easily pick him up and hold him for cuddles. Strangers still need to earn his trust.

Trifle is quiet and tidy. He has no issues finding the litterbox and rarely meows (but purrs constantly!)

Trifle is indifferent toward other cats and dogs. He mostly ignores them, preferring human contact over another animals. He would be fine with other animals in the house, but would likely not be best friends with them

Cats and Dogs: Yes, Trifle is indifferent toward other cats and dogs. He mostly ignores them, preferring human contact over another animals. He would be fine with other animals in the house, but would likely not be best friends with them
Kids: No small children, older tweens and up who are cat savvy can be considered who will take the time to help him gain confidence
