We are facing hard decisions about which kitties we can help because we don’t have enough foster homes. 😿
We don’t have a shelter, so we can only commit to bring cats or kittens to safety
IF WE HAVE A FOSTER PLACEMENT.
Could you be the hero a kitty needs?
We’ve been asked to help:
six eight-week-old kittens;
a gentle five-year-old boy, who needs a low-stress placement;
an abandoned lady cat who is struggling outside;
two shy teenagers who have been posted as adopt-from-foster but their current foster family is leaving on a trip;
kittens needing space to recover from their spay/neuter surgeries;
two six-month-old brothers, who needs to be neutered and then posted for adoption;
a four-year-old lady cat with trust issues;
a four-year-old boy who needs to re-learn the joys of indoor living;
two friendly bonded brothers, aged seven years young;
young adult cats who are learning to trust people…
And more requests keep coming in.
As a foster family, you’ll need a separate space in your home and time to help your “guest” heal or gain confidence with people.
We provide the food, kitty litter, supplies.
We cover approved veterinary care.
You need to live close enough to Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum for transport to/from our veterinary partners.
Details and the foster application are on our website.
Or email our Foster/Adoption Coordinator at [email protected]
Please, help us help them.
