Rigoletto may be first to arrive when food is served, but beneath that healthy enthusiasm is a calm and easygoing kitten. He is social and enjoys spending time with people and his feline family, yet he is equally content entertaining himself with toys and independent adventures.

With his gentle nature and adaptable personality, furry Rigoletto is the kind of kitten who settles comfortably into almost any loving home.

Figaro is the smallest of the boys, with a gentle, slightly shy nature that makes him especially endearing. He is curious and enjoys entertaining himself with his own little adventures, but would truly blossom with a gentle owner who can give him plenty of one-on-one attention. Once he feels safe and loved, this sweet little fellow is a wonderful and devoted companion.

Bolero of The “Little Meowstros”: Bosley’s North Nanaimo Adoption Event November 8

Named after Maurice Ravel’s famous masterpiece Boléro, and inspired by the composer’s fondness for Siamese cats, this little kitten is a performance all his own.

Bolero seems to dance through life on tiny paws, getting excited about every new toy, sound, and adventure that comes his way. Soft, cuddly, and impossibly cute, he combines playful energy with a loving nature that makes him hard to resist.

Allegro of The “Little Meowstros”: Bosley’s North Nanaimo Adoption Event November 8

Like his musical name, Allegro moves through life with energy, agility, and enthusiasm. He loves to play and explore, but when the excitement is over, he becomes a devoted cuddle companion who prefers to be right beside his favourite person.

Affectionate and selective with his attention, Allegro forms deep bonds and will reward his chosen family with endless love and companionship and entertainment.

Allegro is particularly attached to his little sister, Mimi. After her spay surgery, Mimi had to be separated from her rambunctious brothers to heal. Allegro would run up to her enclosure, trying to be with her. It was such a happy reunion when Mimi and Allegro could be together all the time again.

Sweet, gentle Mimi is a charming little kitten with a playful spirit and an irresistible face. She shares a special bond with her bigger brother, Allegro, and loves joining in the fun, though she will sometimes pause to sit back and watch him with wide-eyed admiration.

Named for one of opera’s most beloved heroines, Mimi combines curiosity, tenderness, and grace in a way that is sure to capture hearts.

Ginny: Bosley’s North Nanaimo Adoption Event November 8

Ginny (nicknamed Ginny-Gin-Gin by her foster mom) is “a big personality in a little ball of super soft fluff”.

She’s as affectionate as she is rambunctious. Big feelings, loud purrs, and meaningful head butts.

Ginny loves her toys: springs, balls, toy mice, and cardboard boxes to shred. She also loves soft beds, chin scrubs, ear scrubs and shoulder massages.

This chatty gal also loves cuddling, grooming and sleeping with her sister, Martini.

Since Ginny has always had her sister to play and cuddle with, she would enjoy being adopted with her OR joining a family that already has a friendly young cat.

She’s probably good with older kids once she’s settled in, but Ginny still runs to hide at unexpected loud sounds or fast movements. Those reflexes kept her alive outdoors as a tiny kitten, before she and her sister were rescued at barely eight weeks of age.

Martini: Bosley’s North Nanaimo Adoption Event November 8

Martini earned the nickname “Teeny” (Mar-Teeny) because she was much smaller than her sister, Ginny, when they were rescued with their momma.

A demure and super soft little ball of adorable charm, Teeny has a quiet little purr that starts as soon as you rub her chin and ears.

Loves soft fuzzy blankets and furry beds. She is happy to snuggle with you once she gets her zoomies out.

So playful with all toys, especially springs, balls, mice, catnip toys to rabbitkick.

Martini is understandably a bit cautious to start. She will run and hide at unexpected noises or fast movements, so little children will overwhelm her. Her reflexes kept her alive outside until she was rescued at barely eight weeks old. Once she’s comfortable, Teeny has the sweetest disposition. At the beginning, Teeny was her big sister’s little shadow. Now, as her confidence has grown, she independently loving as well.

Since Martini has always had her sister to play and cuddle with, she would enjoy being adopted with her OR joining a family that already has a friendly young cat.

Simba: Bosley’s North Nanaimo Adoption Event November 8

Do you prefer productivity or distraction?

If you’re looking for distraction, Simba is your guy.

This gentle giant is a big playful goof.
He loves to sit on his foster mom’s desk preventing all work:
He ‘hates’ the mouse, always knocking it off the desk, along with any other object that looks droppable.
Tries to catch the cursor on the computer screen.

When his foster mom tries to quilt, Simba makes sure the fabric is fit to lie on, running off with small pieces and knocking items off the cutting table.

Simba is doing all this because he would like your undivided attention for love and affection. He especially loves scratches around his neck.

And after all he’s been through, we understand his desire for smooches.

Simba was abandoned on the street when his people moved away. Neighbours stepped in to get him help because his eyes were so infected and swollen that we weren’t sure he could see when he arrived in CatSpan’s care. He was diagnosed with “entropion” (his lower eyelids curled inwards so his eyelashes constantly rubbed on his eyeballs - the pain 😿).

Maybe you saw our fundraiser for his speciality corrective surgery with the Island Veterinary Eye Specialist?
Simba’s eyes are fully recovered and he received his final vet check last week.

Now, let’s find the dear, sweet boy - to quote his foster home - his forever family, who will never abandon him again.
