A look back at our Truth and Reconciliation event 🧡.

It was a meaningful day of learning, reflection, and connection as we came together to honour Indigenous cultures and deepen our understanding of reconciliation.

Through activities, conversations, and shared experiences, our youth had the opportunity to learn more about Indigenous history, traditions, and the importance of respect and understanding.

Last week, our community came together to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Thank you to our incredible facilitators, Tara, Angela, and Ashley, for sharing their knowledge, culture, and teachings with us. A special thank you to Deputy Mayor Paul Richard - Ward/Quartier 4 Moncton and City of Moncton Councillor Felix LeBlanc for joining us and for their continued support of BGC Moncton and our community.

On behalf of the New Brunswick Real Estate Board and the REALTORS Care® Golf Committee, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s REALTORS Care® Annual Charity Golf Tournament.

The real estate industry came together to raise an incredible $31,000 in support of BGC Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe and Atlantic Wellness.

Whether you were a golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer, committee member, or someone who helped behind the scenes, every single person played a part in making this possible. This tournament is a true example of what can happen when our industry comes together with a shared commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.

The funds raised will support two organizations doing incredibly important work for children, youth and young adults in our region.

Atlantic Wellness provides free, professional mental health services to youth and young adults in Southeastern New Brunswick. Their work helps ensure that young people can access the support they need without cost being a barrier, while also providing resources and support for families and caregivers.

BGC Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe creates safe, welcoming spaces where children and youth can learn, grow, build confidence and feel supported. Through after-school programs, recreation, education, leadership opportunities and community programming, BGC helps young people build the skills, relationships and confidence they need to thrive.

This is what REALTORS Care® is all about. It is our industry coming together, supporting one another and making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work.
