After the weekend, we will continue to distribute the team jersey sets to all of the rec league teams.

Our crew is unavailable this weekend for jersey distribution after going seven straight weeks of tryouts and evaluations.

MMHA staff will deliver the jerseys and equipment to each team’s room during one of their next few ice times.

TeamSnap AVAILABILITY

Now that all teams are set up on TeamSnap, we would ask that all players indicate their “availability” for each ice time or event.

This also includes the goalie clinic groups.

This way, the coaches can plan practices and lineups.

It makes things so much easier on our volunteer coaches when they know who is coming and who is not.

Thank You

Rec Teams Manager Meeting

Now that all of the rec division teams have been made, we need to schedule a team manager’s meeting.

We will have a separate meeting just for the u-7 and u-9 teams.

Then there will be a 2nd meeting for the u-11-13-15-18 rec teams.

It is mandatory that one representative from each rec team attend this meeting once it gets scheduled.

We will go over many subjects, including budgets, the 50-50 draw, regulations, etc…….

Our director will also hand out the annual tickets for the HNB prize draw.

So if you were just added to a team, make sure that it is discussed who the team manager will be.

We will announce the date of the rec manager’s meetings in the next few days.

Track Suits

Moncton Minor Hockey association supplies each team’s head coach with a track suit each season.

If the head coach already has one they may offer the suit to one of the assistant coaches.

We will reach out to each head coach soon for their information. Then we will place the big order and we will let everyone know when they come in from the supplier.

Goalie Clinics

A reminder that our weekly goalie clinics start up tonight!!!!!!

The weekly goalie clinics are open to all Moncton Minor Hockey and SEFHA registered goalies. SEFHA is the south east female hockey association.

Tonight’s clinic is for the u-9 and u-11 goalies.

We may start bringing out some u-7 goalies later on, but the priority right now is to have the u-7 goalies skating with their teams.

We have invited all of the goalies from both associations to their own TeamSnap goalie clinic groups via email.

If you are a goalie in either association and you did not receive an email invitation for our TeamSnap group, then please send us a message here on our page and we will get it done.

The reason for the TeamSnap groups is to remind all the goalies about their clinic every second Wednesday.

There is also a spot to put your “availability” for each clinic, which we will ask that all goalies fill out every week so that the instructors know how many goalies are coming each night so they can plan.

Teams with 2 goalies.

Some of our rec teams have teams with 2 goalies.

A reminder that one of the goalies can play out as a player if they want, if the other goalie is in nets that game or practice.

Not all goalies would be interested in this but we wanted to remind everyone in that situation that they can.

We had our u-15 and u-18 drafts last night.

All of our teams in the entire association are now made!!!!!

Make sure to check your emails so you can accept the invitation to your team’s TeamSnap page.

“TeamSnap” will be the app you use all season to communicate with your team and see the schedule.

One of the first things each player should do once they get on TeamSnap is to add family members under their profile so that everyone can see the player’s schedule. This is extremely important, especially in blended families and to include family members that might be responsible for transportation to and from the rink.

Evaluation Jerseys

Now that our tryouts and evaluations are done it is time to collect our missing evaluation jerseys.

If your player still has an evaluation jersey please do not leave it at or try dropping it at the rink.

Just message our page and we will find the best way to get it back to us.

10/19/2026

Our u-9, u-11 and u-13 drafts are all complete!!!!!!

Players in those divisions should check their emails for invites to their team’s TeamSnap pages. Don’t forget to check your junk and spam folder. If you don’t see it in your inbox.

Our u-15 and u-18 drafts take place on October 20. Players in both of those divisions will be receiving emails about doing 1 more practice before they land on their permanent teams for the season.
