The local u-15 AAA tryouts have a full 3-period red-white scrimmage game.

The u-16 AAA Moncton Thunderbirds have a 1 hour tryout inter-squad game.

And if for some crazy reason that isn’t enough hockey for you, the Moncton Wildcats have a preseason game at the Monton Coliseum at 4 PM.

U-11 Competitive Tryouts

The first competitive team tryouts to take place will be the u-11 division tryouts.

U-11 families should be checking their emails leading up to the beginning of tryouts for their ice times.

All members of the association should be checking our website and watching our page as we prepare to launch the season.

Goalies do not sign up for the conditioning camps. If a goalie does want to participate they have to email our executive director at [email protected] to see if there is room as we only take the first three goalies in each division that ask to join, at no charge.

Only players that have registered for a conditioning camp may participate.

Each age division’s conditioning camp has 4 sessions where the players are put through drills to prepare themselves for upcoming tryouts and evaluations.

Our u-11 and u-13 conditioning camps begin on September 5.

The schedules have been emailed to everyone that signed up.

The goalie spots in both of those clinics are already full, but there is still room for players to register for both.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Cats Cup, taking place on Sunday, September 27! The event is open to children ages 5-10.

It is that time of year to start checking your emails. That also means to check your spam folders on a regular basis.

Often our emails wind up in spam folders because we send them out hundreds at a time.

The emails will be going out to the email you used on file when you registered your player.

The first groups on the ice this season will be our u-11 and u-13 conditioning camps. There is still room in both groups so register before they fill up.

They both start in less than a week.

Registration links for the conditioning camps, regular season, and competitive tryouts can all be found on our website. 

Each age division’s conditioning camp has 4 clinics and they all take place before competitive team tryouts begin. It’s a great way to hit the ice a few times before tryouts and evaluations begin.

A reminder that goaltenders do not register for any of our conditioning camps. If you are a goalie and you want to participate in a conditioning camp simply email our director at [email protected].

There is no charge for goalies but we only take the first 3 that contact us in each age division.
