Our hearts are breaking for the children and families in Venezuela. Following yesterday's devastating back-to-back earthquakes, families are facing widespread damage, collapsed homes and critical infrastructure losses.

In moments of sudden crisis, children are always the most vulnerable. 💔

Please join us in praying for the safety, protection and comfort of everyone affected. 🙏

What can happen when a church rallies around a global need?

Forest City Community Church in London, ON has shown us once again! Through their commitment to the Global 6K for Water, they raised an incredible $64,688 to bring lasting change to their partner community in Malawi.

We are so grateful for every participant who walked, ran, fundraised, and prayed—and especially to Pastor Rob & Coby Hogendoorn and their amazing team for championing this event year after year.

The Global 6K is more than a walk. It's an opportunity for your congregation to put faith into action, engage all ages in a meaningful cause, and help provide clean water to communities in need around the world.

Pastors and church leaders: If you're looking for a powerful, hands-on way to mobilize your church and make a tangible Kingdom impact, we'd love to help you explore bringing a Global 6K for Water to your community. Join us on a journey with 3 dads across Kenya and Bangladesh that all have something in common - they work hard and love their families.

Thank you to all the dad's across the world. For the early mornings and the late nights, for the example you are to us, and the preparation and wisdom you give us all. For the guidance, For the quiet moments, the steady support, the laugh's, and the moment we did not even know you were caring for us. To the fathers in Kenya, Bangladesh — and beyond — this video is for you. We see the work. We recognize the impact. We appreciate everything you do.

Through the new grant, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada, we aim to further advance the rights and dignity of men, women and adolescent girls and boys by increasing access to gender-equitable nutrition. We know that when fathers and mothers are empowered, and when families have nutritious food to thrive, then communities thrive.

Happy Father’s Day! 💙

This weekend we honor the fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and faithful men who lead with strength, humility, and love. Thank you for the countless ways you reflect our Father’s heart—through prayer, sacrifice, encouragement, and steadfast faith.

To every pastor and church leader who pours into the next generation: your example matters more than you know.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

Praying this Father’s Day is filled with joy, rest, and meaningful moments with those you love. Happy Father’s Day from all of us at World Vision Candda!
