๐ŸŒˆ June is Pride Month! A time to celebrate the joy, strength, and resilience of 2SLGBTQ+ communities while also recognizing the importance of safety, inclusion, and belonging.

At AYSP, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported for who they are. Pride is a celebration, but it is also a reminder of the ongoing work to create spaces where q***r and trans individuals can thrive without fear of stigma or discrimination.

This month, we encourage our community to celebrate local Pride events, uplift 2SLGBTQ+ voices, and continue learning, listening, and showing up with care.

Peel Pride is happening this July, and weโ€™ll be sharing more details soon.

Today, on National Child and Youth Mental Health Day, we are reminded that every child and youth deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe asking for help.

Mental health is shaped by so many parts of a young personโ€™s world, including home, school, community, relationships, and access to care. Creating space for honest conversations, early support, and connection can make a meaningful difference.

No family should have to face mental health struggles alone. For information and resources, visit www.aysp.ca and Childrenโ€™s Mental Health Ontarioโ€™s website www.cmho.org.
