4 weeks to go! Many have reached out to ask if we are able to do fireworks this year as Byron and Argyle have announced they have been forced to remove it from their Canada day activities due to a reduction in sponsors and community support. This is a very real struggle for the Summerside Community Club but we are happy to say yes we are for 2026. Besides the support we have received from Drewlo Holdings - Apartment Rentals, Ironstone Building Company , Summersmiles Family Dental, CUPE 7575, Krystal Lee Moore, Real Estate Broker , Schwartzentruber Music Services and KKP London. It is the donations from the community that we rely on to determine if this annual event continues or not. Unfortunately those donations have severely declined even with more volunteers deployed each year to collect donations. In 2025 less that $300 in donations were received from the Summerside Community in person and by e-transfer.
