Invitation to Participate in 2026 Canadian Public Company Study The number of senior operating public companies listed in Canada has declined by nearly 50% since 2008.

Why? Your expertise and experience can help us better understand the reasons for this phenomenon and instruct future innovation reform to re-energize Canadian public markets.

Who is eligible to participate? We are looking for experienced (i) Senior Business Decision-Makers and (ii) Capital Markets

Professionals to take part in a national survey assessing what are the most influential factors contributing to public company decline in Canada, and to help us evaluate ideas for re-energizing Canadian public markets.

Eligible “Senior Business Decision-Makers” include senior executives and directors of any Canadian-based public or private companies.

Eligible “Canadian Capital Markets Professionals” include securities / corporate lawyers, auditors / chartered professional accountants, investment bankers, broker-dealers, venture capitalists, private equity investors, asset managers, employees of any Canadian securities regulator, and employees of stock exchanges.

If you fit into one of those categories, this is an opportunity to have your experience reflected in our study and thereby influence the future trajectory of regulator reform and policy innovation as we seek to make Canadian public markets more attractive to our most promising start-up and growth stage companies.

If you are interested and agree to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey that will take between 10 and 20 minutes. Your participation will be confidential and no information that allows for identification of you will be collected.

The study is being partially funded by the Ontario Securities Commission, and the output will be included in papers published by the OSC and the C.D. Howe Institute, along additional papers in other outlets.

A research initiative led by professors at the University of Calgary examining public market participation, capital formation, and the future competitiveness of Canadian public companies.

🎤 SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT | SUMMIT 2026: START • STAY • SCALE

We’re excited to welcome Andrew Tepperman, Executive Chairman of Tepperman's, to the SUMMIT 2026 stage.

Andrew grew up in the family business, which was founded in 1925, and returned to Canada in 1997 after building experience in the furniture industry across the United States and Canada.

He became President of Tepperman’s in 2006, serving in that role until 2024, and today serves as Executive Chairman.

Under his leadership, Tepperman’s has grown to more than 450 employees across seven markets, becoming one of Canada’s largest privately owned family home furnishings retailers.

And 2025 marked an extraordinary milestone: 100 years in business.

🚀 A major milestone for London and for Canada’s aerospace future.

The London Chamber of Commerce was proud to join Canada Rocket Company for the groundbreaking of the Jeremy Hansen Test Facility at London International Airport, with our CEO, Graham Henderson, serving as MC for this significant occasion.

The planned $30-million facility will be Canada’s first large-scale static rocket engine test facility, strengthening London’s growing aerospace and defence sector while helping advance Canada’s domestic launch capabilities.

With at least 40 highly skilled jobs expected over the next 18 months, this investment is also about what comes next: new opportunities for talent, research, advanced manufacturing, education and local businesses.

London already has a strong aerospace and defence ecosystem, and partnerships involving the London Economic Development Corporation, London International Airport, Western University and Fanshawe College demonstrate what is possible when business, education and community partners work together.

As Graham shared during the groundbreaking:
