🌾We are looking for volunteers to help with the cutting and removal of phragmites along our shoreline. Volunteers will assist with cutting phrag and piling it onto sleds for transport.🌾

-Perfect for Highschool students looking for volunteer hours
-Equipment will be provided

Help protect and restore our environment and community shoreline 🌱🌊

What to bring:
-Weather appropriate clothing
- Rubber boots / waders
-Water / snacks

We’d like to take a moment to recognize and thank Danalynn Williams from First Nation Phragmites Control for all of her hard work and dedication and helping us tackle invasive phragmites along our lakefront.

This work is so important in protecting our Shoreline, restoring natural habitats and preserving the health of our lands for future generations. We truly appreciate the knowledge, care, and effort that goes into this process.

We’d like to thank everyone who attended our ATR Information Night regarding the Indian Hills Golf Course.

For those who couldn’t make it, or for anyone who would like to review. We are sharing the presentation and handout from the session.

This is an important step in the Addition to Reserve (ATR) process. As shared during the session, a community vote will be taking place this summer/fall regarding the designation of these lands to allow for the continued operation of the golf course once it becomes reserve land.

No decisions have been made at this time, this is part of ensuring members are informed, have the opportunity to ask questions, and understand what’s being proposed ahead of the vote.

We encourage all members to stay informed and participate in the upcoming process. More information, including details on voting and additional information sessions, will be shared as it becomes available.
