Are you 55+ and looking for a local opportunity to practice yoga?

The Osgoode Village Community Association, in partnership with Path of OM, will be offering gentle Hatha yoga in the upstairs hall at the Osgoode Community Centre.

🕙 10:45 – 11:45 AM
📍 Upstairs at the Osgoode Community Centre
💰 $6 drop-in or $50 in advance for this introductory set of 10 classes
** Maximum class size is 16

What a day ay the Osgoode Outreach PorchFest stage!

On Saturday, the patio at the Robert Dowd Apartments was alive with music, and laughter.

The morning started off with The Travelling Wannabees who delighted the crowd with some familiar favourites. Mickie, Willa and Gay are always great performers, even when some pretty big wind gusts threatened to carry the tent away.

Washtub Frank and the Paddy's were next with nostalgic bluegrass. Their cosy set with wonderful harmonies was perfect for under the shade of the big maple tree. This talented trio are familiar faces around Osgoode and in the surrounding communities and always draw people in with their musical storytelling.

Heirs of the Dog closed off the afternoon with a lively and fun Celtic-East Coast party vibe (under a freshly weighed down tent). Their driving rhythms, fun song choices, and entertaining personalities made us feel like we were at a Newfoundland-style kitchen party. Thanks Alan and Phil for coming to PorchFest and making us all feel at home enough to yell “MacIntyre!”

Outreach’s Mickie, Willa, Jerry and Heather all took turns driving the Metcalfe Golf PorchFest Shuttle.

Many thanks to all of the Outreach team who, along with several residents at the apartments, and other PorchFest volunteers helped set-up. And to our “hostess with the mostesss” - Mickie Moir - thank you. You always make people feel welcome!
