What an incredible evening! We want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make our benefit concert on Thursday in support of Elizabeth Fry Kingston such a success. 🎶✨

A very special thank you to Nothin New for sharing your time and incredible talent with us, and to Rustle Street Church for welcoming us into your space and helping make the evening possible.

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to support the event, and to everyone who donated — whether you contributed an auction item, made a monetary donation, or simply showed up and supported us. We are so grateful. 💜

We also want to recognize some of the wonderful local businesses and organizations who donated, including Farm Boy, Thousand Islands Cruises, Novel Idea Bookstore, and so many more. Your generosity makes such a meaningful difference in our community!

And, most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the evening! Because of all of you, we raised an incredible $716! 🎉

These funds will go directly toward Women’s Empowerment Hub programming, helping us provide things like crafts, meals, activities, and other programming that supports and empowers the women we work with.

We are so grateful to be part of such a generous and supportive Kingston community. 💜

💜 Prisoners’ Justice Day | August 10, 2026 💜

Today, Elizabeth Fry Kingston recognizes Prisoners’ Justice Day — a day to remember those who have died while incarcerated, acknowledge the harms experienced by people in prison, and stand in solidarity with those who continue to seek justice, dignity, and meaningful change.

For women who are incarcerated, the impacts of the criminal justice system can reach far beyond prison walls. Many women enter the system carrying experiences of trauma, poverty, violence, homelessness, and other barriers. Their stories, voices, and potential are too often reduced to a sentence or a statistic.

Today, we reaffirm our belief that people deserve dignity, compassion, opportunity, and support — not simply punishment.

At Elizabeth Fry Kingston, we stand alongside women who are incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and navigating life in the community. We believe in creating pathways toward healing, stability, connection, and meaningful opportunities beyond incarceration.

Prisoners’ Justice Day is a reminder that justice must include humanity.

Today, we remember. We reflect. We advocate. We stand in solidarity. 💜
