This young lady seems to have made a habit of bringing great credit upon herself, as well as her unit Niagara Sea Cadets .
Again, we would like like to congratulate Cadet Gloria Li , this time on achieving her Federal Advanced Amateur Radio qualification, scoring in the 90s, and at age 13!
Active and motivated, Cadet Li continues to set records with everything she attempts. From being our youngest cadet to achieve the Federal Basic qualification at age 12, being the second highest cadet mark on the Basic exam with just under 100% and now , the advanced qualification.
Wanting to relax, she decided to finish off CW (morse code) training with the intent of receiving her federal licence endorsement prior to her 14th birthday. 😁
It is such a pleasure to be able work with such sharp, motivated youth such as Cadet Li, and witness their ever increasing successes!

Honouring Black Canadian Military Trailblazers in the C&E Branch 🎖️
February is Black History Month, and we take this time to honour and recognize the contributions of Black Canadians in the Communications & Electronics Branch.
Today, we highlight Samuel Malcolm Estwick and Signalman Welsford Daniels, two trailblazers whose expertise in military communications and technology played a vital role in Canada’s defense.
🔹 Samuel Malcolm Estwick served as a Radar Technician in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) at a time when radar was an emerging, high-tech field. His work was critical in advancing Canada’s air defense capabilities.
🔹 Signalman Welsford Daniels was a member of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (RCCS), specializing in military communications. As a Signals Operator, Daniels played a crucial role in keeping Canada’s forces connected during operations, despite the racial barriers of the time.
🌟 Their contributions shaped the history of military communications in Canada, and we are proud to honour their service.
