The Spire We are a vibrant, inclusive performance venue and community hub for arts, advocacy & outreach!

We are an innovative and accessible community hub whose goal is to continue to develop a sustainable model for protecting and expanding a heritage city resource. In this historic building we embrace and celebrate people of all ages, racialized groups, genders, sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnic origins, political beliefs, economic circumstances, differing abilities and challenges.

The calendar may have turned, but The Spire Community Garden is still going strong! 💚

From ripening tomatoes and grapes to beautiful late-summer blooms, there’s still plenty growing, and plenty of colour in the garden thanks to the Sydenham Street United Church volunteers who care for it.💚
