We’re lucky to have Ruth as part of our wonderful usher team, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate this incredible milestone with her!

Join us in congratulating Ruth on an incredible 25 years with PSP!
Ruth has been part of the military family since 1978, first as a military spouse and now as a proud parent. Her son has served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for over 26 years, and Ruth has even completed two deployments to Latvia in 2018 and 2020.
Her journey with PSP Kingston began in 1997, working as a bartender at the messes before spending approximately 20 years at the Garrison Golf & Curling Club. Since February 2023, she has been part of the team at the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre (KMCSC).
When asked what she enjoys most about working with PSP, Ruth highlighted the opportunity to support military members so they can focus on their jobs, meeting the many people who use our facilities, and working alongside such a diverse community. She also appreciates the opportunities PSP provides to explore different positions and deploy alongside the military.

Ruth fait partie de la famille militaire depuis 1978, d’abord comme conjointe de militaire et maintenant comme fière maman. Son fils sert au sein de l’Aviation royale canadienne depuis plus de 26 ans, et Ruth a même effectué deux déploiements en Lettonie, en 2018 et en 2020.
Son parcours avec les PSP Kingston a commencé en 1997, alors qu’elle travaillait comme barmaid dans les mess, avant de passer environ 20 ans au Club de golf et de curling de la Garnison. Depuis février 2023, elle fait partie de l’équipe du Centre sportif de la communauté militaire de Kingston (CSCMK).
Lorsqu’on lui a demandé ce qu’elle préfère de son travail avec les PSP, Ruth a souligné l’occasion de soutenir les membres militaires afin qu’ils puissent se concentrer sur leur travail, de rencontrer les nombreuses personnes qui fréquentent nos installations et de travailler aux côtés d’une communauté aussi diversifiée. Elle apprécie également les possibilités offertes par les PSP d’explorer différents postes et de se déployer aux côtés des militaires.
