Pam, Lisa, and Jackie were back at Phoenix Youth Programs last week, serving up a favourite comfort meal: breakfast for dinner! 🍳🥞

The menu featured eggs, pancakes, sausages, and potatoes, providing a hearty and delicious meal for the youth to enjoy.

We’re grateful to these ladies for continuing to give their time and talents in support of our community. Small acts of service can make a meaningful difference, and we’re proud to support the important work being done at Phoenix.

We are currently hiring for positions at Phoenix Youth Shelter, Phoenix House, and Phoenix Centre for Youth. If you have experience supporting youth and are passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
 
Responsibilities include: 
🔸 Provide support and programming for youth.
🔸 Assess and address the needs of the programs’ youth, including crisis intervention.
🔸 Complete and maintain logs, files and records as required and ensure confidentiality is protected.
🔸 Provide a supportive environment that promotes youth empowerment.

Huge thanks to the Halifax West High School Interact Club for months of hard work planning, and executing a hygiene drive for us!
 
Your efforts brought in 4,000 essential items—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and more—and your help sorting everything made it easy to get these supplies to youth across our programs.
 
We’re so grateful for your leadership and support! Keep up the great work.

✨A HUGE thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Phoenix Youth Gala!✨
 
Special shoutout to Phoenix’s own DJ Nay for keeping the energy high all night, to everyone who donated formal wear and accessories, and to our partners at the Hair Design Centre, Indigo Clarke Media, and Saint Andrew’s Church for helping us create a space where youth could feel confident and celebrated. The night was a tremendous success, filled with joy, connection, and unforgettable memories.💜🧡

Lisa, Kat, and Pam were back in the kitchen at Phoenix Youth Programs last week, serving up another comforting meal with care. 💙🍽️

They prepared shake-and-bake chicken with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and fresh salad, bringing warmth, nourishment, and a sense of home to the young people Phoenix supports.
