We are hoping to adopt these 2 shy tuxedo beauties together but are open to separately to the right homes. They both require patience, kindness and a quiet indoor environment for at least 2 to 3 months to feel comfortable in their forever home.
LORNA
Female
Age: ~1.5 years old
Tuxedo
With her big beautiful, sea-foam green eyes, Lorna captures your heart right away. She had a rough start in life having been part of an overwhelming multiple cat situation on Mudge before Cats Alive rescued her. She has been in two foster homes and is looking for her forever home. She may be timid and slow to trust at first, but once you spend time with her, she becomes a cuddle monster, purring loudly and always eager for chin and neck scratches. Once she gets to know you, she'll revel in your affection, but she’s still not ready to be picked up and she still hasn’t figured out the joy of sitting on someone’s lap. That will come. She still hides from strangers, but with patience, soft words, and some treats, she’ll drop her shyness and come out for cuddles. An excellent work mate, she loves sitting beside you and being patted. She was a bit spicy at first, but as she has grown to trust, she’s gentle and increasingly likes to flop down in happiness. She has a beatiful shiny coat
STANLEY

Like his sister, Lorna, Stanley had a rough beginning and was rescued by Cats Alive from an overwhelming multiple cat situation on Mudge. He’s still shy but purrs loudly and likes getting cuddles, but he’s hasn’t figured out laps yet and he’s afraid of being picked up. Stanley is such a gentle, sweet fellow with a fun, playful nature. He likes to hide and swat at the broom and he’s eager to get closer for more pats but Lorna tends to muscle in to get the prime cuddle position. This handsome fellow has a lovely nature and is looking for a loving, forever home where he will shake off his shyness and blossom.
