PIETŪS MŪSŲ SAVANORIAMS vyko LABDAROJE trečiadienį, balandžio 22 d. Savanoriai praturtina kiekvieno mūsų gyventojo gyvenimo kokybę: per draugiškus apsilankymus, skaitymus gyventojams, pagalba maitinant, gyventojų palydėjimus į susitikimus su daktarais bei terapistais ir tt., pasivaikščiojimai, padedant rinkti lėšas, teikiant gyvūnėlių terapiją, žaidžiant žaidimus, kepant skanėstus, sodininkaujant lauke ir suteikiant daugelį įvairių pramogų kas mažina vienišumą ir užima kartais labai ilgas dienas. Pripažindama laiko dovaną, kurią mūsų savanoriai taip dosniai dovanoja mūsų namams, LABDARA padovanojo mūsų savanoriams pietus kaip būdą atsidėkoti. VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION LUNCHEON was held at LABDARA on Wednesday, April 22nd. Volunteers are our valuable resource that enhance the quality of life for every resident through: friendly visits, reading to a resident, assisting with meals and feeding, accompanying residents to appointments, taking residents for walks, helping with fundraising events, providing pet therapy, playing board games, baking goodies, gardening outdoors and many other pastimes. In recognition of the gift of time that our volunteers give so generously to our home, LABDARA treated our volunteers to a luncheon as a way of saying THANK-YOU. Several folks have been volunteering here for 20 years or more and they were recognized by a gift of a special mug marking their contribution to LABDARA. Come join us – all are welcome.
