Would you like to learn some Gaelic and make some friends? We hold a monthly Gaelic Conversation Circle in our classroom at the old school (224 Highway 214 in Elmsdale). This month, we'll be meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

Are you concerned about frauds and scams? Join us for a Community Cafe and Info Session on Frauds and Scams on Tuesday, November 3rd from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at our office (the old school building at 224 Highway 214 in Elmsdale). We will have information about best practices for staying safe online and a chance to discuss all the latest scams out there.

This year, we're holding our 8th Annual Harvest Dinner on Thursday, November 19th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Cup of Soul Cafe (1-7 Horne Rd in Elmsdale). You can register on our website: www.easthantslearning.com/harvest-dinner-8

We have an exciting menu lined up for this year:

- Your choice of Chicken with Cranberries or Pork with Apples, both served with stuffing, vegetables, potatoes, gravy and a roll
- Apple Cake or Carrot Cake for dessert

Tickets are $15 each, payable by e-transfer. We also accept cash or cheque at our office (the old school building at 224 Highway 214 in Elmsdale).

When you register, you select a pick up time for November 19th. Dinner is served drive-thru style at Cup of Soul. Pull up in your vehicle and we will pack your order and bring it to you.

Did you know that there's a new test for folks that didn't get their high school diploma? It's called CAEC - the Canadian Adult Education Credential. If you or someone you know didn't graduate, we can provide support in our classroom in the old school at 224 Highway 214 in Elmsdale. Our instructor, Ed MacDonell, will provide you with resources and one-on-one support to help you reach this milestone.

Interested in learning more? We're holding Community Cafes and Info Sessions on October 20th and 27th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Enjoy a coffee or tea and learn how we can help. Everyone is welcome!

This non-profit was formed to support the work of first-responders and communities when they need help. Everyone is welcome to apply.
