This week we celebrated Pride in style, with a game of Pass the Parcel, a walk with Pride gear, hotdog BBQ, painting rocks, and a karaoke dance party!

As Pride Month begins, we celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the right of every person to be respected, valued, and supported in expressing their authentic selves.

May 31st–June 6 is National Accessibility Week, which highlights the importance of a barrier-free world that allows everyone to participate fully and independently in everyday life. Earlier this week, we took a trip on the Ferry to the Halifax Waterfront to check out what accessibility features are available and to explore how inclusive public spaces can help create welcoming experiences for everyone.💙🩵

A not-for-profit organization that supports adults with intellectual disabilities in Elmsdale, N.S., has moved into a new facility, offering more job and skill-building opportunities to those in the community.
