After the overwhelming love, laughter, and heartwarming moments at our last Meet & Greet, we simply HAD to do it again! 🥹💕

There is something 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 about spending time with these incredible little souls. ❤️

At our last event, we watched faces light up, smiles grow, and hearts absolutely MELT as visitors got to experience firsthand just how unique, affectionate, curious, and downright hilarious rabbits can be! 🐰

And truthfully? We think our team enjoyed the bunny therapy just as much as everyone who came to visit!!!! 😂❤️ Our hearts were SO FULL. 🙏

Back by popular demand, our Senior Rabbit Care class will be offered again next month, on Zoom on Friday, November 13!

The class is designed to help you understand how your rabbit’s needs change as they age. From adjusting their living space to navigating special needs and health considerations, this live Zoom class will give you practical tools and guidance to support your bunny through every stage of life.

🐇 Rabbits are adorable, intelligent, affectionate little creatures... but they're also some of THE most misunderstood pets around.

📣 Let's bust 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 common bunny myths! 👇

🚫🐰 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝗲: Thinking treats/veggies and pellets are the main course!

Sorry, Bugs Bunny! 😂 Carrots are actually NOT a dietary staple! They shouldn't be given at ALL (other than a carrot top..and those should be given few and far between.) Reason? Carrots are high in sugar and starch, and excess sugar disrupts good bacteria in their guts which leads to painful gas/bloating, and worse, GI stasis which very dangerous (extremely life threatening shutdown of digestive tract).

✅💡 𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙏𝙊 𝙁𝙄𝙓 : Unlimited hay should make up approximately 80–90% of an adult rabbit's diet, alongside appropriate limited amounts of dark leafy green herbs (think mint leaves, basil, cilantro, dill, dandelion), measured pellets (1/4 cup 2x daily), and fresh water always. No iceberg lettuce EVER. Healthy gut = happy gut = long life.

🚫🐰 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝘄𝗼: Assuming rabbits are low-maintenance pets!

They're small, quiet, and cute... so they must be easy, right? WRONG! 😂

✅💡 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Rabbits are intelligent, sensitive, social, emotional animals who need daily interaction, enrichment (toys like baby stacking cups are great, they love to throw them around!), exercise and space to run, proper nutrition, and specialized veterinary care. They are 𝗡𝗢𝗧 meant to live in small cages, 𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥𝗦🏞. They are domestic buns, not wild hares. They're a BIG commitment in a little package!

🚫🐰 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲: Expecting every bunny to LOVE being picked up and cuddled!

Here's a surprise for many new bunny parents: rabbits actually DON'T enjoy being held! As prey animals, being lifted off the ground can feel frightening and unsafe. 🚫💔😔

✅💡 𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙏𝙊 𝙁𝙄𝙓: Love them on THEIR terms! Sit on the floor, allow them to approach you, offer gentle pets when welcomed, and let trust develop naturally. 🥰

A bunny who flops beside you, nudges your hand, or chooses to hang out with you is showing affection in their own beautiful way! 🥹❤️
