With Speaker Series less than one week away, we hope everyone is excited as us! To crank it up even higher, we are introducing our Drag King/Queens for Speaker Series following our expert panel:

Grand Masala -

Coming in hot! 🔥 It’s Grand Masala Blending Bollywood with Hollywood to reignite a passion for performance as a thirty-something year old. Sometimes too sassy for themselves 💁🏽‍♀️😈, but just like a hot spice, the burn comes before the flavour 😮‍🔥 🌶️!

Tanner Steele -

This Trans-masculine King 👑🏳️‍⚧️ has been entertaining audiences since 2015 and has spent a majority of that time using his art to fundraise for local charities 💖🤝. As an entertainer, Tanner is just as comfortable doing smooth crooner numbers as he is bringing the heat with rock, pop, and Broadway! Will Tanner Steele make you swoon or envious?😍😏 The Choice is yours.

Audrina Linn -

As a Two-Spirit performer 🌈, Audrina Linn is an unapologetic force of nature on the drag scene 🌪️. Whether she’s delivering high-energy lip syncs or razor-sharp comedy, she leaves audiences mesmerized and inspired 😵‍💫💖.  Are you ready for the rush of Audrina Linn?

Tansi,

Please join us for another exciting year of speaker series on Feb 12, in collaboration with .ualberta: Notwithstanding or Nothing Left Standing? This expert panel discussion will raise awareness of key legal and ethical issues at play in the Alberta government’s unprecedented use of the notwithstanding clause to shield anti-trans legislation from constitutional review. Panelists will examine how these laws intersect with Indigenous jurisdiction, impact our campus, and our public systems. Registration is free and includes remote/asynchronous viewing options, live drag performances, free appies, and a cash bar!

Link to register is included in our bio and available in the QR code.
