šŸ’› Thank you to CAAWLS, Millie, and Shastta! 🐾

We wanted to take a moment to show some appreciation for one of our amazing community partners, CAAWLS (Chimo Animal Assisted Wellness and Learning Society), and our visitors, Millie, and her owner, Shastta!

Millie and Shastta have been visiting our hub every other Wednesday since February, and we are so grateful to have them as part of our community. The youth absolutely LOVE Millie, and her visits have become something everyone looks forward to! šŸ¶šŸ’›

Thank you to CAAWLS, Shastta, and Millie for sharing your time with us and bringing so much joy to our hub. We appreciate you more than you know! 🫶

We will be closed Wednesday September 30th in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We are taking the day to honour survivors of the residential school systems, children who never returned home, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada. We encourage everyone to pause and reflect as well as learn, honour and listen.

Truth and Reconciliation is an everyday and year long commitment. We all have a role to play in reconciliation.🧔
