Coffee & Play starts this Tuesday!

Caregivers and little ones are invited to join us at The Hazeldean Community League for a relaxed morning of play, conversation, and community.

📅 Tuesdays, starting September 8
🕘 9:00–10:30 a.m.
📍 Hazeldean Community League
💜 Free and drop-in. No registration required.

The playgroup is geared toward children ages 0–5, although all ages are welcome. We’ll have play and activities for the kids, plus coffee and tea for parents and caregivers. Caregivers stay and play with their children.

There’s no need to register. Just come by, meet some other local families, and enjoy a morning together.

While participation is completely free, families are encouraged to purchase a 2026–2027 Hazeldean Community League membership to help support the costs of programs like this. Membership is not required to attend.

Please share with any parents, grandparents, caregivers, neighbours, or families who might enjoy a welcoming place to connect. We hope to see you Tuesday!

Music heals. Yoga heals. Why not bring them together? Let’s practice to some sweet beats as we connect the community through breath. Join Sarah as she guides you through a yoga class accompanied by an intentional Mixtape “playlist”. Each class Sarah will create a vibe that will elevate you and bring your awareness into your body with your breath. “Life is a mixtape, as is breath.”

Let’s practice to some sweet beats as we connect the community through breath. Join Sarah as she guides you through a yoga class accompanied by an intentional Mixtape “playlist”. Each class Sarah will create a vibe that will elevate you and bring your awareness into your body with your breath. In this practice we will slow down and connect the breath with the body while we hold passive poses and flow with our breath. All LEVELS WELCOME

Rock n’ Roll Rise & Stretch at Hazeldean Community League

Let’s rock, roll and stretch our bodies to some sweet beats as we connect the community. Join Sarah as she guides you through movement with props which will helps release tension in the body by stimulate the connective tissue in the body. This class will be accompanied by an intentional Mixtape. Each class Sarah will create a vibe that will elevate you and bring your awareness into your body with your breath. All LEVELS WELCOME

Registration is OPEN for Indoor soccer for Hazeldean kids, U4 all the way up to U19. The season kicks off October 17 and runs through the winter.

Two steps to register:

1️⃣ Membership → hazeldean.getcommunal.com/memberships
2️⃣ Register → portal.emsamain.com/login

You'll need your membership card number for step 2, so don't skip step 1. If tou purchased an early-bird 2026-2027 HCL membership at the Summer Kick-Off BBQ, message us and we'll get your info to you.

September 4 is the EMSA registration deadline.

It's on like Donkey Kong! The Hazeldean Drop-In Playgroup is a go!

We’re excited to share that a neighbourhood volunteer has stepped forward and is eager to get a Hazeldean Drop-In Playgroup up and running at the Hazeldean Community Hall this September.

We’re still ironing out the details, including the day, time, and exact format, but the important part is that it’s happening.

Now we need some help getting the playgroup ready.

The Hazeldean Community League is looking for donations of new or gently used toys, activity materials, and craft supplies that can help us create a fun, welcoming space for little ones and their grown-ups.

If you have quality items your family has outgrown, or you’d like to donate something new, we’d love to hear from you.

Time to represent the neighbourhood, Hazelnuts!

The Elks are very excited to announce the inaugural Community League Day for the 2026 Edmonton Elks Season!

When: August 21st, 2026
Where: Play Alberta Field - at Commonwealth Stadium
The game: Elks vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 7:30pm
