PhilSA is not only for Filipino or Filipino-Canadian students; it is open to all campus members who are interested in Philippine culture and issues. 📣 EXEC OF THE WEEK ALERT 📣

Hey everyone, it’s Jerica 😛 I’m a 2nd Year Media Studies student, as well as PhilSA’s Jr. Gala Chairperson!

Currently I work at Apple as a specialist, but when I’m not working there or at school you can probably find me watching Formula 1, playing the drums, or spending time with my friends & family. Recently I’ve gotten back into video editing because of PhilSA and some of my classes this term, so you might catch me doing that as well!

I was born in Manila but moved here when I was still little, so I speak more Tag-lish than fluent Tagalog! Regardless of my fluency, I saw PhilSA as a great way to grow closer with my heritage. Through my executive role, I hope to foster a greater sense of camaraderie and community with our PhilSA-nians and curate an amazing Gala next spring!

That being said, I hope you enjoy your time with me as I show you a week in my life!

PhilSA is proud to announce the PhilSA Jollibee Fundraising Event! 20% of all front counter sales (only includes dine-in and takeout, does not include drive thru) will go towards the PhilSA 2025 Fundraising Gala. For this event, you MUST mention “I’m here for PhilSA…” before proceeding with your order, otherwise the sale WILL NOT go towards PhilSA fundraising efforts.
